I received a gift from my employer of a frozen turkey tonight and I have no where to put it and I would like to donate it. I tried to go to the local soup kitchen and they told me they only accept canned goods. Where can I go?

call a domestic violence shelter and you will make an abused woman's life a little happier when she needs it the most!!

Contact some local churches. Many of them will be delivering Christmas "boxes" to people today and tomorrow, and turkeys are the hardest thing to get for the boxes.
If you are in the Cleveland, Ohio area, get in touch with me, and I will give you a few phone numbers of places I know will use it, but all over the US, many churches do Christmas boxes for folks that can use the food.

put it in front of your door, and someone will take`it, or go outside and give it to the poor, like a christmas gift :)
