to much to spend on groceries to feed 8 people 3 meals? This includes x-mas brunch and dinner, snacks and desserts!

No! Eight people and three meals and snacks and desserts? My bill would be higher than that. But it depends on how well you shop and how much they eat. I think $154 for all that, you're getting off pretty cheap! :)

nooo, not at all. It actually seems too little, because that's alot of people and alot of meals! But as long as the people you are having over are satisfied then it doesn't matter how much you spend, right? :)

No not at all. Im surprised to see you do it for so little. I spend $250-300 a month just to feed myself.
