personally, no. i'm still devoted to intelligence, learning, education, research, logic... etc.
but i have been contacted by a few people who, after a few discussions, have gladly left christian cult belief and sought education and intelligence. and that makes me very happy. it's great to hear people who come here and find enlightenment, and a release from mythical cult nonsense.

I have to say yes, thank you Y/A. I am more of a Christian than ever before in my life. All you atheists have been a big help confirming and strengthening my beliefs. Thank you so much.
I only hope I have helped strengthened your belief that I am somehow working for nothing or whatever as much as you all have helped me to keep on believing.
Would anyone else like to share their Y/A R&S revelations? Come on tell me what you really think. I can take it.
Merry Christmas to all.
I tweaked it a little to my own experiences and added some need puncuations marks =). I think you need to get a life. Can you take that? I hope so.

Personally, Yahoo! Answers' Religion & Spirituality section has confirmed my non-belief in religion. Seeing fanatical Fundamentalists on here making blatantly false accusations and threats of hell-fire and eternal damnation have scared me away from religion for a while. At least until a religion comes along that's sane and has evidence to back up its claims. Also, seeing the wacky, absurd, and sometimes utterly hilarious claims made by Christians "proving" creationism only furthers my acceptance of evolution.

I have found out just how scary Evangelical Christians are. I never cared for their way of being ''holier than thou'', but now I know exactly how holy they feel.
Maybe it will die down some once the grand leader (smirk!), George W., is out of office.
I'd prefer an Atheist friend over one of these Evangelicals.

I don't really feel I need anything confirmed, although I've learned how much crazier some beliefs are then I realized.

I never believed some of these swivel-eyed headcases existed before I came here. Now I believe, because the evidence has piled up before me. Praise be.

Your own answer to your question confermed what yahoo answers has shown me. That there are so many spiritually lost people in this world, than we actully were aware of, before yahoo answers ever got started. It's quite sad.

There is nothing that can be said here that will further my understanding of the spiritual.
Nothing can be said to confirm or deny my beliefs.
I can discover that only by dieing.
