Im a photographer but for some reason i always have trouble choosing a good camera.Im not proffesional or anything but my pics do get used for some publications so i need something in a reasonable price range but good quality. Right now i have a Canon power shot S3 but i hate the little flip out LCD screen.
any good camera suggestions?

You didn't mention money, but I see the Canon EOS 350D with the 18-55 kit lens being advertised for $650 and less in flyers from Circuit City and Best Buy today. This is not "tomorrow's technology" any longer, but it is still a very good price on a very good camera. I just read that the 18-55 "II" kit lens is an improvement over the original lens, but I can't tell if this lens is what comes with this kit or not. if not, you might want to save your money and buy a replacement lens as soon as you can, but it's still probably as good as your S3 anyhow. No, it won't zoom from here to China with an 18-55, but you can always buy a monster zoom in the future.
