I was horrified to find out that she was checking my email at least as often as I was--looking for 'evidence.' She told me that it wasn't such a big deal.. all girls do it. Ask anyone, she said, and they will tell you that they have snooped through a boyfriend's private things and personal communications. Is this true? Or is my girlfriend just being crazy?

Not all girls but some may do if they feel insecure.
Just change your passwords.

I have an interesting story to tell you, one of my friend told me her boyfriend snooped her email to check if she had relation with other guys. Unfortunately she had and they broke up.

So it doesn't depend on boy or girl. It just depends on each individual.

This happens to all of us. For whatever reason, women tend to think they have a god given right to do the snooping in our personal papers, belongings, email, vehicles just everything.

As my daughter's grew older they did the same thing. I don't know what they expected to find since no man was or ever will be more faithful than i am.

I finally resorted to changing my password on my email weekly, even changed the criteria (secret questions) so they could not send for a new password. When i did that all of them got on my case and asked me what i was hiding.

In addition I changed the locks on the two vehicles that i drive (pickups) and hid the spare keys. Basically I put everything under a combination lock system. I bought a large Gun Safe and modified it to hold all my valuables. Again these actions really angered them.

But didn't stop them from going through my dresser drawers and clothes closet and my mail. The next step i took was to move my things and self into a separate bedroom where i installed a combination lock on the door., I've gone further with this and installed locks on all the drawers on my dresser and doors to my closet. I even went so far as to have my mail delivered to a p.o. box which i alone know it's location in the city.

I'm a pretty open and upfront person and one need only ask me about anything and they get the total truth in response. I don't hide anything in my life past or present. I'm an open book. But i have limits that i don't like being crossed.

Where i'm at now is basically living in my own home and feeling a bit separated from everyone. I'm a retired disabled veteran drawing 2 very good pensions and don't do anything except work with my coin, stamp, collections work in my yard, go fishing occassionally with the family present get online and answer questions and give my imput to others.

Women are just nosy B*tches that need a good swat on the a** when they take this snooping too far. I haven't gone that far YET but haven't ruled it out in the future.

That is not true. I do not check my boyfriends phone or e-mail. However its because I trust him. Even though some girls do, its because you boys are so private, you dont tell us what you are thinking and doing. So we have to snoop to find the info. Maybe she is just snooping for the holidays.*~

Thats kind of true...if a guy talks 2 girls while he has a gf,she might get suspicious & snoop thru his email & stuff just 2 make sure the convo's are regular...but if she trusts u then she wouldnt do that...unless u did sumthin 2 take her trust away.

I don't snoop through my boyfriend's stuff. Maybe she has trust issues, maybe something happened in a past relationship that has lead her to believe you may be cheating. If you have nothing to hide, then you should tell her that anytime she ASKS you'll let her look on the spot but she has to quit snooping.

Some do and some don't. Some do because they are just plain nosey. Some do because you give them reason not to trust you. Some do because they are jealous because of past issues that may have happened to them. Depends on the person. I don't so I don't fit into the stereotype you are suggesting as I'm sure there are many others...both ways.

I don't have a boyfriend, but if I did, I would respect his privacy. However, if I suspected that he was cheating, I might snoop.

Uhhh no buddy..
your girlfriend is crazy!
I don't snoop around my boyfriend's
e-mail. This probably means that she's
unsecure about your guy's relationship.
