I accidently installed windows setup onto my computer and now it is acting as a default operating system for my computer. I still got windows xp on it and can still use it, but I wanted to know if I could change the default to windows xp or get rid of the windows setup operating system altogether. Please help.

you can use Boot and Nuke
http://dban.sourceforge.net/
or if you have ur original windows xp cd, insert restart computer. follow directions as if setting up, and partition your harddrive then exit

each little thing receives deleted once you reformat your difficult force. in case you intend to reformat the difficult force make confident you decrease back up all important information and each little thing else you may choose. also make confident you've a set up disk on your operating equipment with the set up code.

the best way is to format the hard drive ,plz do your backup before format.

format/reinstall to xp.

If you can see a boot menu you can edit it at c:\boot.ini
