There will always be wars and there will be peace in between. Wars aren't won overnight like we'd like them to be. It's the one thing we can't get done in like fast food.

Lets see, "Where they belong" HUM?
Maybe you mean like in Cuba where the primary job of the military is to protect a dictator? Or maybe in the Sudan where the militaries job is to exterminate undesirables? Or maybe to put down civil uprising?
The job of the US Military is to maintain order in the world; Iran with their nuke program, North Korea with their saber rattling and the rest; do you think that the French are going to step-up and take THE RESPONSIBILITY? If you do I have an antique French army rifle for sale; just $20, only fired once and dropped twice.
If ALL the military men and women come home where they "BELONG" what are they going to do with all the combat trained professionals?
If they were to come home where they "BELONG" a LARGE number would simply be discharged and OUT OF WORK! They just are NOT going to pay a combat trained ASSET to collect a check, shop at the PX, get free medical and take up space.
Maybe you should THINK and look at the BIG PICTURE rather than whinning about your PERSONAL situation.

Peace? No peace is possible if we allow tyrants to oppress people in foreign countries. Some claim that it is none of our business how many people get murdered abroad, but I for one disagree- once the tyrants have finished with their own people, they seek other victims. Always have, always will.
The military, i am sorry to say, are exactly where they belong. They fight a war in a distant country, so that we may peacefully live in ours.
These are, once again, the times that try men's souls, and these people are no sunshine patriots or summer soldiers.

I'm sorry but there will never be peace in this world. there will always be some people that think there the best and try and rule some place. the military is there to help people from being ruled by an evil government.

When the time comes they will come back home... As far as peace goes if you study history there never is anything such as real peace. There is always something happening it's human nature I suppose. If you believe the Bible it will give you the truth about peace...

There will never be peace in the middle east. There never has been. I agree that our troops should come home. I'm old enough to remember Vietnam & when this whole fiasco started I said it's Vietnam all over again. Now everyone is saying it. The young people won't pay attention & rebel against it until they reinstate the draft. That will get their attention.

This is a HOLY WAR my friend.
Know that God is just and through the mighty sword wielded by the USA...he will smite the these evil, Islamic forces of Satan from this planet.
You are either for US of against US. If you align yourself with the cowardly defeatists of Liberal, atheist, Democrat, Terror appeasers...then YOU are likely to suffer the same fate as they who reject Christ and sleep with The Devil and Mohamed.
I will pray for you.

Unless the greed which drives men slacks off, there will always be wars. Wars are not really about a cause, it is about MONEY. So, unless mankind have a change of heart, war will go on and on.
