I have a 2001 grand prix it cuts out when driving down the road? while driving down the road you turn the wheel to right and the rpm drops also i cant find anywhere that shows where the crankshaft sensor is on the car any help will be appreciated?

if it only does it when turning right, it sounds like a broken wire to me, I'd take the plastic shroud off the column and inspect the wires coming from the ignition switch, see if something is getting pinched or pulled when you turn

(if it is th 3800 v6)The Crankshaft position sensor is located in the front under the Intake manifold, and is bolted in to the Engine Block with a small bolt, you can remove it with a size 10mm wrench, but make sure you replace the O-ring before putting it back.

The crankshaft sensor ought to be behind the harmonic balancer.

Is this a 3800 motor?

3800 engine ,have to remove harmonic balancer to replace it 3100 engine ,backside of block mid-way between trans.but this does not sound lke your problem.
