Why not take the chance? If you've kissed, then he obviously knows you two have something going on so telling him straight out how you feel shouldn't hurt anything. Don't worry about what your friends will think if it makes you happy.

First decide if it is really love, because you are taking a chance on losing a great friendship. If you have kissed, why didn't it, at that time, progress? Who pulled back from a different type of relationship? Is he with someone else, and open about it? Does he make any overtures toward dating you? Watch for signs that he cares for you on a relationship level rather than a friendship. If there are no signs, you then have to decide if you want to wait, that he is the only man for you, and then talk to him about it. Remembering that the consequences may be that you scare him off. Or hopefully, you can examine the relationship and both of you decide which way it is going. If only a friendship, no hard feelings, and you both can rejoice when the other gets a mate. You will still have a dear friend.

Wow, I think he probably feels the same way you do. Keep spending time with him when you can, sounds like you guys might be ending up together.

Your life is not like "Friends"
If you value the friendship then no.
If it's worth possiablly losing the friendship, go for it.
