You can find love anywhere, if you are sincere in wanting that. The dangers of internet love is overwhelming, as there is the potential to hide whatever isn't OK with a person's private life. Is he/she married, do they have another family, how do they have so much time on the computer (don't they have any other life?). If you do this, go slow, and then slower. Don't overlook anything. For instance, I'm writing to someone right now, and he won't tell me anything about himself. Danger. I'm married, and only interested in saying hello to people from other countries; his refusal to talk about wife, girlfriend, work, children, etc. tells me more about him than if he DID speak of these things. I now communicate with him on a rare occasion, because he isn't presenting the whole person (isn't transparent, as they say.)
But like all relationships, an internet one can be a bad one, and the next an OK one. Just watch each sign and don't ignore something, or think it will pass. And don't invite them to your home, etc. unless you have been on the computer for a very long time. Don't end up dead, or raped. No love life is worth that, and again, I can say anything I want on the computer to drag someone in, if I wanted to. And so can anyone else. Tread lightly, and in the meantime, go outside of your house and see if there are any interesting people out there. Doing what you also like to do best, whatever your hobby is, or your delight in something. Like minds gather together. Success.

No, not in a chat room. People go there to pass the time or to find cyber sex. It might be possible on a website, but, you need to do your research about the whole online dating thing before you try it so you don't make all of the mistakes a lof of people do.

Yes, I do think it is possible....I have been talking to a guy through the internet for a while now, and that is how we met.... We have seen each other quite a few times, and I plan on moving to the city he lives in soon....possibly getting married.....
IF you can find love at the grocery store, the mall, or at a bar, you can find it on the internet...Its like a technologically advanced blind date!!!!

Anything's possible. I know a couple who met in a chat room, she had a problem with her computer, he had the answer. They started chatting...hit it off, then they e-mailed each other pics. Then they decided to meet. One lived in NY, one lived in Chicago. They'd meet each other after work. Dating was also a cultural taboo, so they had to sneak around they're folks too. Well, long story short, they got married and have atleast one kid(that I know of).

I think Internet is not much different than real life
Internet is just another surface of life
So Internet is like social life too,so why not to be possible?you talk with someone, get to know him,are more willing to reveal yourself over the Internet, there is more place for dreams there,so actually you can build a pretty good image of someone and then implement it into reality and it turn out to be pretty good and useful for you
Why not to be possible to meet real love over the Internet? What makes it more different than a bar for example:))Nowadays people are too busy, why not to choose Internet instead of blind dating? On Internet for a day you can talk to 100people and sort them out, could you meet with 100 potential partners in life for one day and sort them out?So internet has its advantages too
I think you can meet real love on Internet with some success as in real life,if you know what are looking for,you will see it,no matter if in reality or in virtual life
