It goes both ways my dear; I have seen Muslims here also saying bad things about Christians. As a Muslim, maybe you could help by explaining 'true' Islam on this forum; I am sure that some will listen.
I can't blame Christians too much for putting down Muslims because there is indeed confusion among us and Muslim Fanatics make headline every day.
I discuss with many Christians here via Email and I have made many friends. The problem with the two religions is that we fail to listen to each other. As you say so rightly, 'we do believe in the same God' and if you study the truth in both faiths, Christians and Muslims have no reason to fight each other; however, there are ignoramuses on both sides and Muslim Fanatics doesn't make it any easier.
Is a shame that some Christians would cruelly crucify all Muslims especially at this Christmas time of peace on earth and Goodwill to men.

Today everyone uses the "Racism Card" when in reality racism is not an issue. You see Mexicans of European decent (Spain) crying "racism" because US citizens want people to obey the law.
Now it is not unusual for a Muslim to cry "racism" when "religionism" would be the correct word since people of all races are muslims.
In my opinion, Muslims are extremely touchy about their religion because they know it can not withstand honest questioning.
That is why countries such as Saudi Arabia prohibits tourists from bring Bibles into the country for their personal use.
If you post a question about Islam on this forum, Muslims get all defensive and start personal attacks against the poster and the Bible.
Islam in practice and in word is not really tolerant of other people's beliefs. Plus Islam is geared more towards Muhammad worship than the proper worship of God. Hence the outcry against the cartoons about Muhammad, but not a peep as a result of the DAILY cartoon blasphemy against God!

Ignorance breeds ignorance. I read one response where everybody gets slammed here, and that is true. The internet is a place where you can be as truthful or not as you want too be.
You are right there are so many similarities between the muslim and christian religions that it very well could be one religion except for the names of the people involved.
I don't think that it really an attack on the muslim religion, but an attack on the people of the muslim religion. If you look back in history, there were attacks on the catholics when they came to the U.S. and there were attacks on the Jews when they came here and there are attacks on people because they think or dress or talk or look different.
Most people today are very rude towards one another and they pass this on too their children who pass it on and on and on and on. Some day the pass will be dropped and things will change, until then it is up too each person that is slammed either in person or elsewhere to try and inform the slammer about what makes them an individual and not degrade that person for slamming you, because that would be slamming them. Inform that person of the differences that you share and entitle them to their own point of view. Maybe they will realize that they were wrong and appologize, and maybe they won't.
An eye for an eye, leaves both people without an eye and then nobody can see what a beautiful world we live in.

Racism isn't the best term to use here because Islam is not a race it is a religion!! There are many people from different races and cultures that make up Islam! Likewise if someone bad mouths Christianity, you wouldn't say they're racist because Christianity is not a race!!
Anyways!! Most people just bad mouth Islam because they don't know any better. They have no lives and have nothing to do accept feed into the stereotypes of what they see on television. Some of them hate because they're jealous or maybe the feel threatned that Islam is growing faster than their religion!

Now your not being fair now are you!!!
Whoa Whoa calm down MURDER is far a bigger sin!
Stick to today and what we see and are told. I know islam,,, for 5 years we are told to learn. DAILY we are told of the LOVE and PEACE of allah, muslims and islam. TV
Where are your imam's and mullahs to explain why the Palestinian need to fire rockets into Israel when they keep offering peace They are going to die 100 to 1.
Why do the Iraqi's kill innocent women children old men.
Isn't it true the koran, the faith of islam, ALLOW, demand and approve of such NONSENSE.
I believe these people (you point to here) are disgusted at the vile muslims, we are exposed to daily, NOT YOU ! or your fellow muslims that have respect for us.
I have no idea the kind of person you are I am sure you are kind.
But the words in the koran are violent and your fellow islamic followers are doing that work.
I have a list of the vile words by chapter and verse, is that not a more important sin. I can overcome racism, if I have no fear of murder. Your idea of racism is my self defense. I have no intention to offend YOU just the book and idea.

We are not being Racist. We are taking issue with Islam, and what it Teaches, and, Madam, we do know what we are talking about, we do know about Islam. You may believe in One God, but Satan also believes that God is One, and trembles,(James 2:19). There is no comparison between Islam and Christianity. There is no comparison between Jesus Christ, The Son of God, and your prophet. There is no comparison between our God, and yours. There is no comparison between The Bible and the quran.
What fellowship can there be between light, and darkness ?(II Corinthians 6:14 - 18).

Sister, thank you for being honest.
There are all types of people, of all ages, on this forum and many of them could be here for many purposes, including point-gaming and the pursuit of the illusive "best answer" win.
Many others come here to have serious dialogs with people of different faiths...
What I suggest you should do is ignore the ones that obviously make fools of themselves, and respond positively to the ones who are genuine and honest in their responses. The quality of the people of the forum is very dynamic and fluctuates rapidly during a 24 hour period.

Because people are weird, and have no idea of the history of the Islamic culture. Basically some people need to do what you just said (read the Bible or Quran) maybe read a history book or two, and just leave the people alone.

Perhaps because the Muslims deserve to be treated badly for not speaking out against the terrorists who are daily murdering innocent people in the name of Islam. You all march in anger against someone who says something bad about your religion, or draws a stupid cartoon, yet make martyrs of the fools who strap on bombs and blow up a busy market place, or school, or hospital. Until you stand up en masse against these people, you deserve being at the very least bad mouthed. I am not legally allowed to protest outside the local mosque,( its deemed racial harassment) or I would be there every time another tarrorist kills a child in the name of Allah
