This Cat Of My Friend Jorden had blue eyes. It was a kitten, 12 weeks old, a white kitten with siamese mixed with other things, I think its mixed with Snow sepia Bengal. It was in a dark place, all of a sudden it saw the light and it turned red!

Yep. I don't know all the specifics, but there's a thin "film" or something like that in the pupil that reflects off light. I think that film also helps cats see better at night.

Usually when I see light reflecting off a cat's eyes, it's yellow or green, but red is definitely normal, too.

However, if the cat's eyes turned red and STAYED that way, after it looked away from the light... yeah, that would definitely be a problem.

But it sounds like the light just reflected off the cat's eyes.

Happens to my cat. When light reflects it's eyes it turns a different color. Green turns yellow and blue turns red

Yes, when it's dark and the light hits animal's eyes, they reflect the light. Yes, they can reflect red. But I had a cat one time whose eyes were not reflecting the light the same as it usually did and it turned out to be an eye infection.

I have a siamese mix with blue eyes, and the same thing happens to her eyes. It's weird, but completely normal.

I don't think it is. I have 6 cats and I have never seen that happen.
It might what happens to that kind of cat, but I am not sure.
