of course red and Green peppers and lemons onions in the fridge optional garlic if you are gonna use it soon no but if you if not yes potatoes need to be in a dark place at room temp tomatoes buy them with nice color and leave them at room temp if your gonna use them soon if not in the fridge reason they taste better at room temp good luck

I put the peppers in the fridge. Lemons, depends on how soon I'm going to use them. Tomatoes, garlic, onions, and potatoes, nope.

The garlic store in a dark dry place (not frig) you can do the same with the onions and potatoes if you'll be using them soon. When you put the poatatos in the frig they start to breakdown from starch to sugar. Onions you can put in th frig if you want to but don't have to.

all except the last 3 would do great in the fridge. Just dont let the direct cold air hit them. They get wilted. I keep my garlic in a little tiny clay pot with a lid handy by the stove. And the potatoes in a basket out on the counter top. They keep forever and dont require refrigeration.

this is what i would do: red and green peppers in the humidifier or vegetable tray in the fridge and tomatoes as well if your house gets too warm, leave the rest of the stuff out. and use them asap.

If I am using them that day I sometimes leave them out.
