Depends on where you are. In a city, or a suburb. City will be more expensive. Also if you are using an upscale salon. I wouldnt so much suggest fantastic sams thou. I do charge the same if I just trim or if I cut. But I do charge more if you come in and say you want a complete restyle (such as hair down your back, and you want to go to a chin length bob.

Why do you want to pay $40.00 for a hair cut ? My daughter just came complaining that she had a hair cut at the upscale Mall and paid to much for it, and did not like the hair cut at all. Have you folks heard of Boric's or Fantastic Sam . Their haircuts are $10.00 or less on special days. I even think that is a lot to pay. They give you a decent hair cut, and you still like to leave them a little tip. Consider a hair cut takes no more than 7-10 min.

That's about what I get charged for a cut. Included in this is a wash & style. It's more than I'd like to pay, but I really like the gal I go to.

nope they are right on.
a "trim" is a haircut. no matter who much you take off.
you are taking up their time to perform the cut. and they have to go through all the steps no matter who much you take off. ITS THE SAME EXACT THING.
