well for about 1 month now my hair been thinning out..in the shower about 20-30 strands fall out and outside of the shower they still fall out with the same amount. I went to the doctor and they say it's nothing and they say that my hair are like the tree in the fall they change the leaves. they did my blood test and there's nothing. it's so scary that my hair falls out so much. i used to have thick and long hair now it's all thin and it's still falling out. Sometimes i see the baby hair falls out too. Also my eyelashes and eyebrows occasionally fall out. i asked like 3-4 doctors and they all say it's ok but i was wondering if anyone have the same problem. i have a healthy diet and i drink vitamins and i don't have stress. so please help me!!i keep on going crazy cuz everyday hair keep on falling out.

Hair does naturally thin sometimes, if your doctors say you are healthy.. you really shouldnt worry. It can be a phase. This happened to me one summer.. my hair got very very thin, but by winter.. it had filled back in. When I brought it up to my hairstylist, she said it just naturally happens to some people, often because of stress. You should lose more than 20-30 strands daily, actually.

If your eyelashes/brows are only occassionally falling out your probably okay. My hair falls out like crazy. Its bad enough that my mom still finds my hair in her house two years after I moved out. Its normal. I promise. You lose on average 100-150 strands a day. Do you wear your hair in a ponytail alot? or pull it back tightly when you do? My advice is to switch shampoos to a baby shampoo for a while then reexamine the loss. You might just be stressing your hair with all the chems and shampoos. Take a prenatal vitamin or a vitamin specifically for women.

i had the same issue, am a black girl with natural hair and due to hot combs and blow drying, my hair began to shed and thin out. I tried all the expensive store products from sephora for anti- thinning and they did not work for me, spent over 200 box. I went to a dematologist ( 2), one recommended this hairline Barry Fletcher ( shampoo, conditioner and promade) just ordered it and yet to try it) and the other suggested monodixil 2% ( rogaine is the brand name, u can buy the rite aid band, CVS brand to save money), use it on scalp twice a day (AM and PM). Please speak with your dermatologist first though.
Also go to a salon and have then assess the situation as well, wear your hair in styles that wont cause stress to your hair follicles, trim also helps with the dead ends. Also eat well, exercise and use your vitamins ( biotin, vitamine e and msn help). I believe Horsetail herb is meant to help as well but who the hell knows. you also have to wait for 3 months to see a difference as well. good luck.
