and the guy who bought it for her didn't get it at a pet store and she doesn't have diarrhea. But thanks for the concern...maybe she is just missing her mom.

If she just got it, she needs to have it seen by a vet ASAP. Rottis are VERY prone to getting PARVO, so ANY vomiting or diarrhea is cause for concern. Fast the dog for 24 hours..water only...and then introduce kibble in frequent SMALL meals and see how it goes.
MAKE A VET APPOINTMENT!!

New food should be introduced slowly over a 2 week period.
You can't stop a tummy ache just like how you can't stop it in a human...you wait for it to pass.

by stomach ache, do you mean throwing up???? hold her off food for the night and just make sure she's drinking water, if she's still not feeling well by morning or gets any worse take her straight to the vet.

I give my dogs burnt toast with nothing on it when they get stomach ache. As it is true that a lot of dogs will eat grass when their stomachs are bothering them. This too is ok.

she needs lots and lots to chew if shes teething it eases the pain get her some good sturdy chewables from the pet shop and if her stomach upset doesnt improve then get her to the vet she could have swallowed something if she has got something stuck she will try to eat long grass to make herself sick

chewable Pepto Bismol tablets...if she won't take it as a treat, you can out it down the back of her throat or crumble it up in something she will eat (but not too much, just enough food to get the medicine in her)

Immodium and Pepcid are OTC medicines that are safe for dogs to use, according to my vet. I have used it for my dog several times without a problem.

Feed here rice with a bit of hamburger grease.
That will usually stop them up.
Lots of fiber and it doesn't take much grease to get them to eat it.

I've heard that dogs chew grass to help themselves feel better. I'm not sure if that helps, but they usually throw up after they eat some grass.
Yeah, gross, but it's worked for me. Twice, I ate something that didn't agree with me, and I had to throw up. (no, I didn't eat grass to make myself throw up!) Afterwards, I felt much better.
Dunno if your sister's dog will try eating grass though...

You can give her a teaspoon or two of Mylanta or Pepto Bismol.
