most of the illegals are latino be default NOT by any racist immigration laws, do they think we let white people have citizenship this country more easily NOT A CHANCE They seem to clump illegal aliens and legal hispanic immigrants into one category,,just with different immigration statuses

illegal alien is not an immigration status,, it's a federal offense
somebody on a student visa has a immigration status, somebody with dual citizenship does,,a migrant worker does also,,but not an illegal alien,,,they were always a criminal never an immigrant

all the hispanic newspapers will say hispanic immigrants are being discriminated against in the workplace by these ICE raids, NO IT'S ILLEGAL ALIENS, no immigrant was ever detained
why do they think they are being discriminated against,, this is so ridiculous

SOMETIMES I WISH the illegals were all from russia so they couldn't pull the race card and divert the issue

WOAH there buddy, le's cut back on the latent racism. The reason that pro-boarder enforcement people are percieved as racist is because they narrow the scope of boarder legislation to Hispanic people exclusively. There are plenty of people who aren't hispanic that illegaly immigrate into this country everyday, but only hispanic people are called on it.
BTW i'm pro-boarder enforcement myself, but i'm not narrowing the field to Illegal hispanic people. Let's try a little tolerance next time.

Once again, either you refuse to see the facts or you are just ignorant. The wait for an unmarried adult son/daughter of a citizen originally from Mexico is greater than ten years. The wait time for an unmarried adult son/daughter of a citizen originally from an European nation is about two to three years. You do the math. Wait times for every other catergory follow the same ratio.

Your little identity theft thingy would make a lot more sense if the numbers were correct. 63/1282 * 100 != 20%. And no, more charges are not being added. As a matter of fact more charges are being dropped.

Please do us all a favor and go back to the little rock where you have been living for the past decade and a half.

They perceive it as racist because no other group of illegal aliens receives this level of "attention" from racist groups like the Aryan Nation and the Republicans.

If you were to propose tightening up immigration laws for all groups, then you might be able to shrug off the label of racist.

Oh, and the US government, or rather the people in charge of the US government agencies, really are racists. You might check out stories about the raid on meat packing plants and how things were done by the Feds. People with dark skins were arrested; people with light skins were let go. Funny how some people might characterize that as racists. Because it is.

Now, I have a little sympathy for people who bought (or stole) an identity in order to get a decent-paying job here in the US. I've been to Mexico. I also have sympathy for those who have had their identity stolen and received a big tax-due bill from the IRS. That sucks.

But could we please enforce this even-handedly?

I think it is a political punch that is popular to use. So many people have beat the system by throwing the race card, who could resist.

I witnessed a 19 year old 1/2 Korean girl having words with another individual. She screwed up and said she wanted to kill the President then started throwing up a race issue on the individual that was caught in the conflict. Said it must be because she isn't white enough. The individual never said a word about race the girl just threw that in. I was just taking notes on her tactics. Pretty dastardly if you ask me.

They did take legal immigrants-here's just one quote. Racism? I don't believe many are racist but the Minuteman are allowing white supremacist groups to both link to their website & help them recruit...that troubles me.

"Stormtroopers came in with machine guns, rounded [the workers] into the cafeterias, separated identified citizens from non-citizens, and then they took away all green cards and put non-citizens onto buses," regardless of the immigrants' legal status, Jill Cashen of the United Food and Commercial Workers union (UCFW) told me this morning. Union officials are outraged over a massive immigration sweep yesterday, which sent 1,000 Homeland Security Department agents -- some in riot gear -- to meatpacking plants in six states to round up immigrant workers suspected of using fake identification, but may have picked up legal workers in the process.

Cashen said that reports from all six states confirmed that legal immigrants were among those taken away, and have not been returned. "We're still trying to find out where the buses went," she said. "Children have been left at church day cares. Nobody knows where these people are."

They yell racism because they need to make the issue emotional.

If the issue were just the law, we would be smart enough to just deport all of them immediately.

There is an old legal joke.

If the facts are on your side, then pound the facts in your presentation of your case.

If the law is on your side, then pound the law in your presentation.

If neither are on your side, then pound the table .

The illegals, and their supporters, are emotionally pounding the table with their use of the racial issue.

They should be sent home.

I think they say that to take the attention off the problem of illegal immigration. 90% of illegals are from Mexico. It's not our fault Mexico cannot control it's borders. They can't have their cake and eat it too.

Its an excuse. They are trying to confuse the issue by throwing irrelevet accusations into the debate. You could call it muddying the waters. Ignore it as it has no importance whatsoever.

The cry of "racism" is because they have no other basis for violating the laws!
