being himself and not trying to be phoney or something he's not? where are some good places to meet nice, stable, young men?

If there's a place like that, let me know. Guys and girls feel they must put on a front to attract the person they wish to. Then when everyone get to know each other, that's when the masks come off. Then it's like "oh my gosh, y did I like u?" Then u either deal with it and go on, or break up. Most people don't think they can get another person just by being themselves. there's a saying I heard somewhere that is somewhat true. Women marry men hoping to change them. Men marry women hoping they never change. Sounds nice, but the meaning is; the man wants a young thing that he married; a woman wants a guy she can grow old with(that she had a hand in creating).

First of all you won't find that sort of quality in a younger man. Broaden your horizons and accept the reality that older men are better suited to fullfill your needs.

You might want to try getting involved and changing some of your activities, maybe start attending play's or art show's anything but the younger generation concerts or bars and such.

Older men don't have to brag or be phoney, they are more responsible, mature, experienced, financially stable people and have put the phoney gaming playing younger days behind them forever.

An older man will treat you right and appreciate you much better than any younger man would even dream of.

I have found that a great guy will find you or either he was right there all the time. I have also learned that if I guy meets you and has a preconceived notion about you, like she's a diva, or she's high maintenance, then he will pretend to be more than he is to get your attention, which won't last long. I was separated and single for 3 years before I divorced a maggot and I learned a lot during that time. I just dated with no commitment and worked on me. Now I know what I am worth and don't compomise myself for anyone, say make excuses for what doesn't add up. When you meet someone simply tell them, yes, I would like to talk with you but if you lie to me I can't continue to. Small lies lead to whoppers, just keep your eyes open, he's out there.

SOme places are you won't believe but the supermarket, mall or a club. But some are just been phoney becasue they think if they act like themselves the girls won't like them. And they also think that trying to fool the girld into going out with them by acting like someone else. But some men like me wwant to find a women not a girl who can act like a women and sometimes just enjoy the day and don't worry about who's watching or judging.
