Get it into somewhere quick. If this was the check engine I'd say no biggie but when the transmission throws out a trouble code you need to get it taken care of almost immediately.

Probably a transmission range sensor. Not necessarily trouble, but it should be fixed and the part would be about $120 to replace.

it means you have trouble codes stored.take it to mechanic,it could be something simple but you could cause more damage if you drive to long.
