Is Iran and Saudi Arabia going to start a holy war??

Are they really going to kill each other off over caliphs? They're basically arguing about which caliph should be seen as the true caliph after the death of Muhammed.. Abu Bakr, Umar ibn al-Khattab, Uthman, and Ali...

It's not a "civil war", but just basically a fighting factions. If you listen to the news, you'd swear there was. You have to really becareful of what you listen on the news. They seem to make a big thing out of nothing...especially when it comes to the subject of Iraq. I hope that Iran and Saudi Arabia don't get involved. Saudi Arabia has been a close ally to the US for years. With the recent UN vote to impose sanctions on Iran, I think the terrorism in Iraq will escalate. It's believed that Iran is one of the suppliers of weapons for the terrorists here in Iraq.

yes definetely
it has started and it is not the first time
this was inevitable considering the hate and spite filled in the minds of one against another

that is why i believe that religion is the worst thing that happened to the world..selfless individuals make religions saying they are the word of the lord and everyone goes along with it....the lord never came and said to you that this is my word...
that is because the lord isnt a human being like us who says things to benefit one person at the cost of another's happiness

i say believe and follow a moral and just lifestyle
that debate over caliphs has brought them to this here and they will kill each other and all else until they stop and realize that what they are doing in god's name is only humiliating and casting great blasphemy over the existence of god.
but that isn't likely...society has become an ironic image of godlessness

YES yes YES!

It has been on going for??????????

The Great Pretender (Mo.) was born in 570AD or 571AD and died in 632AD.
Mo left no instructions as to which son or whoever should lead the cult after his death.
The Tikrit moon worshipers have been fighting and killing each other over the leadership ever since.
That is 1,375 (?) years....so much for the religion of PEACE !
Shia, Sunni, Wahabbi, they all want to lead the pack.

finally! somebody has finally hit the nail on the pinnacle of what's surely in the back of the uprisings in maximum of center eastern international locations. no longer all of those international locations can likely be ruled via despots - nor have a historic previous of treating the inhabitants badly. it somewhat is all approximately capability and which team/tribe/sect get to run the country! there have been many greater deaths in Iraq led to via in-combating between distinctive muslim communities vying for capability than there have been via the U. S./uk armed forces for the time of the invasion and as much as delivery out. those deaths are, of path, conveniently no longer pronounced! sturdy element-v-undesirable element? basically time will tell.

They have been in this war for a long, long time. Why do you think Iran and Iraq tried to destroy each other....or Saddam killed so many fellow Musliims....or so many are being murdered in Iraq even now??

there's going to be one in Egypt--Isaiah 19.

And the future of Arabia does not look bright either (I'm not saying this gleefully, it breaks my heart as I'm sure it does God's). There's a prophecy in Isaiah against Arabia. Please read it if you are Arab and tell God you want to be on His side.

Bless you.

I hope it dose not happen, but it would not shock me if it did.

More likely if it were to happen They would use Iraq as a proxy.

with each side financially supporting the faction it represents.
