I deal with the same thing. I also have an inferiority complex. I feel I'm least respected out of any one in a group. I have dealt with things feelings because people have talked about me behind my back, whether it be friends, family, everything. What I learned to do, is not care. I know it isnt easy, but you just have to pretend youre better than everyone else on the inside, and it will make you feel better. Just let it get to your head. Everyone is human. They go through everything that you do, the go to the bathroom, they overeat, they crack stupid jokes. So if people are saying/thinking negative things about you, know that what matters is YOUR opinion of yourself. Not anyone else's.

Hello!
Your being bullied growing up probably did a number on your self esteem. It's a bad chain reaction, he thought your were bad, then you now thing you are bad, then you think everyone else thinks that you are bad. It's a sad thing, but that's how it all develops. So first you have to start liking yourself. If you put "building self esteem" in your search engine, you will get ideas galore about how to do that. As you do this, you will begin to lose that negativity and become more positive about yourself and others.
Good Luck! :)

Honey you need to stop dwelling on the past. You aren't what anyone else thinks of you . You are a good and decent person that is well liked. So, stop the torture stop giving your happiness and joy away to someone that took it from you once upon a time. They don't own you or your feelings. you do, so take control and live like you are teh happiest person alive, many people have so much less and have been abused so much more. right? So, really what do you have to feel bad about? Enjoy while you are healthy and young, it only lasts for a while.

Obviously your bully of a stepfather has given you lowered self-esteem, but by the sounds of it you have overcome this with lots of genuine, nice friends that obviously care about you. You must have qualities that lots of people like in you so think of these and tell yourself ' I am a nice person', cheesy but it does work ! Best of luck and Merry Christmas.

There was a point in my life when I was shown that all my friends were false. I was very upset for years but later it saved my life and I was able to withstand the social pressure of being an outcast,. There is an insult unto death. Be careful.

Try testing again in a few days to a week if you still don't have your period. You could be pregnant and just not triggering the pregnancy test yet. I know several people who didn't get a positive until the week after their period was due.

Don't let people get you down they are not worth it. You obviously have nice friends who gave you presents and cards and they are the people who really matter, ignore the rest.
