I really like this boy at my school and I want to be his girlfreind but he says he doesn't like me RIGHT NOW! There will be a Valentines Dance in Feburary I want to ask him but i am scared of rejection. Now that the girl that was bugging him all the time about going out with her moved he is more open and free...what should I do about it? Should I ask him to the dance and maybe his feelings changed about me since this girl moved or should I leave him alone and forget about him? I truly do love him though

that is nearly two months of - I would just ask him if things have changed for him - if they haven't - move on - he's not worth it.

If a guy explains that hes not interested in you, then just move on. I don't understand why girls sit around waiting for a guy who isn't even thinking about them. You are too much of a person, to be worrying about whether or not this guy will change his mind. There are so many people in this damn world, and I'm sure you could find betta! Keep ya head up, and the right person will come along.

First of all, you don't love him. You don't know what real love is yet. But I can believe you like him a lot, and that is cool.
And about rejection, guys get scared too. What you have to do is be subtle. Find any stupid reason to talk to him. Then when you are talking touch him on his hand or arm. THAT will tell you what he thinks about you.

you should flirt with him a little and see how he reacts. If he flirts back he may like you. If he dosen't it dosen't mean he dosen't like you, he may just be afraid to let you know how he feels, or he may be confused. Just treat him really nice and flirt with him a little. If you truly do love him, you'll know what to do. Dont sak him if he likes you tho. he'll tell you if he dose. He may not say it directly to you, but you'll be able to tell by the way he acts. What he probaly mean by "i dont like you right now" is that he cares about you but he dosent want to lead you on or start anything now. hope this helps, but im having this same problem with a girl that i like.

I would go with your feelings and ask him to the dance, lets face it you will never know unless you ask him. But be prepared for the answer to be either way. Good luck

Have believe in yourself. As you love him you have to show and prove it by your deeds. Action speaks a lot. Try to help him and encourage him to achieve his success. Let him know all this so that he can realize that you care about him. Try to start helping him from today and from now itself as he may be feeling loneliness in absence of his other girlfriend, This will change all the scenario.

Well you don't want the left overs even if they didn't go together but if you really really like this guy then you should tell him how you feel because you don't want to end up not asking at all but in reality he really wanted to go with you ........you kno what I mean?
