If anyone slammed someone of Jewish ethnicity or an African-American or anyone else. They would probably be suspended from answers but its okay to say just about anything about a Christian here or for that matter anywhere else.
Why is that okay?

I am a Christian myself, but I think Christians should be careful, because they send out a very negative image by trying to convert other people. I have a friend who is a lovely person, but not a Christian, and she resigned from a job because the Christians there were pestering her. I think it's one of the reasons non-believers slam Christians.

I wish Christains would be wise and allow other people to make their own choices. People know the Christian message, it's not necessary anymore to push it down their throats. Just LIVE it, day by day, without saying anything, and see the impact on other people's lives...

I don't think that's true. I have heard many Christians "slam" atheists, Muslims, wiccans, and a few other religious groups, and they dont get reported. I think many Christians (Im not saying this includes you) love to feel like they are the underdogs and they have it so hard even though the United States is like 99% Christian.

well you get what you put into yahoo answers and in this world period and that goes for everybody regardless of religious or non religious beliefs i've seen some harsh comments from some atheists some christians some muslims and even some jews and it goes back and forth because there are some people in all groups who don't have respect for eachother so don't go around like your group is the only victim when there's blame to go all around

This is a tedious complaint already dealt out by a group of people who've spent ages treading upon the rights and lives of other people, through proselytizing, outright destroying people's lives (Native Americans, Africans used as slaves, and now those lives destroyed by sickening modern wars) and and civil rights etc. and now are reaping the karma they've sown. Christianity by itself isn't a bad idea but it's most of the people who shove their views of morality down other people's throats through war, dire threats and warnings, screaming disgusting hate and epithets at people's funerals and so on based on a TON of ignorance and thinly veiled UNCHRISTIANLIKE hate, baiting and switching assistance in disasters (convert for food) etc. as if Chrisitianity somehow has the market cornered on ethical conduct is NAUSEATING.

Cause and effect my friend. If you sow hatred and pain you reap it... whether it's that Biblical reference "so shall ye sow so shall ye reap", to the Wiccan/Pagan law of 3, to the Buddhist/Hindu laws of karma... welcome to reality. Frankly I'm weary of hearing the wailing and gnashing of teeth because nobody wails and gnashes their teeth when they're bashing all Muslims because of a few nutjobs who do the same things terrorists who call themselves "Christian" do, nobody gnashes their teeth and wails for the people who are STILL denied human and civil rights in THIS country, and I sure as heck don't hear one sniffle come from those who use and abuse this very earth, the environment which sustains us... I could rave and rant for hours... I feel very little "sorry" for Christians who have committed such things and now weep and gnash their teeth. It's all a bunch of whining lies anyway.

You should not "slam" any religion. Respect our differences and try to learn other culture's customs and traditions. Respect other people's religions and never judge a group by the actions of a few.

Don't worry everyone gets their Karma. Even if no one on the earth planet is doing anything about it. God does not tolerate Blasphemy of his Devotees or devotees of his devotees. They will be Supremely slammed in one way or another. But we should not tolerate their blasphemy. Report the lessintelligent, out of compassion of course.

Christians are not protected from this treatment, as are some groups. But that's OK. We are to be in the the world, but not of the world. Salt and light. Jesus said the world hates us, because the world hated Him. If the world loved us, we would need to check our message.

Fundy Christians simply reap what they sow and then whine about it. if ya don't want to reap briers and brambles stop seeding the ground with thorn bushes.
