I accepted Jesus as the Son of God, Jesus as the sacrifice for my sins, Jesus as my everything, Jesus as my creator.

Hope that helps.

By activating the creator in yourself. Try to compose a poem, paint a picture, write a story, or make a wooden shelf. The process of perfecting the performance of your work brings you closer to your creator more than anything else,

Remember the creator always. Do not just praying when you are facing problems and when the problems are solved forget him. And do not pray only when you get what you want and when you do not begin to question him.
also..be generous in giving and loving

COMMUNICATION

This includes speaking to Him (lots of personal prayer) and listening to Him (lots of reading the Bible with a goal of understanding who God really is).

All closeness in this world and in the spiritual world of God take communication. In the world, sometimes getting to know people does not draw us closer, but away from them. But God is PERFECT in love for you and will always do what is best for you even when we do wrong or go through hard times:

Rom 8:28-29

28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
(from New International Version)

I would say I try to make very action and every thought I can in tune with his will.

That way I get closer by doing his will on Earth.

i believe that the creator is a force that exists all around you
i have adopted my own version of hinduism and i believe that spiritually, in order to be closer to this force/creator, one must purge oneself of sinful thought.
it has to be things such as bad thoughts against others or selfishness...im not talking about small human discrepencies...a little bit of god exists within every individual. those who do bad things are repressing the holiness withing them.....that i why we must see the world as good...despite the fact that bad people live in it....
believe you are close to god and you will be close to god....i believe god is't male or female...that makes me feel uncomfortable to say He when referring to the creator....
i once read that god is all around you but the reason you cannot see god is that there is a curtain of illusion around you....lift it and you will see beauty in the form of god..

great question by the way..

Well, I create My own works of art through music. However, I'm not famous, so I, the creator of music, am known to a select few. You must be referring to Me as the creator.

if the creator is everywhere, well, then, that's the answer to your question.

if the creator doesn't exist, there's your answer too.

all that is left, is that the creator is unprovable. in that case, you cannot answer the question without guessing or hallucinating.

I spend time in nature, either in my back yard among my oak trees, or by a lake or creek, etc. I take some time to relax, let go, and just "be".
