A lot of people have at least tried marijuana. Unless you're dating girls who just got out of a convent (or Bob Jones University), I don't think you have anything to lose from being honest.

Have you ever heard the old phrase, "Honesty is the best policy"? Well, it's something to live by! Especially when it comes to women. The last thing you want to do when you're trying to get a relationship started, is lie; always be up front and completely truthful. If for some reason she can't handle your past activities, then she's not the girl for you. There's plenty of them out there and surely you'll be able to find someone that can accept you for who you are. Lying will only create problems for you down the road. If she were to find out you lied to her (and she will) then you not only look like a jerk, but now she won't be able to trust you.

Well I believe honesty is always the best policy...but sometimes the timing has to considered in the equation. If you are just casually dating...and this is something in your past that you no longer do...I don't think it is necessary to volunteer this info...now that is not to say I am encouraging to lie...I would simply say if asked, well I think it's a good policy to not ask or to be asked of certain intimate details regarding eachothers life at this stage in a relationship...if for some reason the relationship starts to progress where you think you might have a future with this person, then of course, certain past details should be made available to eachother. Good luck.

If asked straight out then tell the truth if you want the chance of a future with the girl. At the beginning don't just offer up the information since they may judge you before they get to know who you are right now. How they think of you would depend on their views on the subject and how well they think of you now.

Tell the truth when asked. Otherwise the past is over and has no bearing on a new relationship. What you think of yourself is more important than what others think of you. Good job getting off the stuff.

I used to smoke weed, too. Many many people have. I was a kid,I have kids now and dont. Mainly because I wouldnt risk prison time and my kids being without me. Its in your past and if they ask you straight, tell them but its not necessary to offer the info. Its only important if its part of your present life.

It's the past so it shouldn't really matter now. Be honest, especially with those you like, start off on the right foot.
