i recently bought a dog off a friend and was given the kc papers with it, but the part you fill out to register as the new owner, i found that it had already been filled in by somebody else (not with my name). how wud i be able to change kc papers into my name?

Assuming that this is all legit, call the kennel club when they reopen in the new year and explain the situation.
They will send you a new form for arrange for the transfer of ownership. Your friend - who should be the current registered owner - will have to arrange this with them and there will be some kind of admin fee for replacement docs.

Well first of all you have to figure out if the papers say Litter papers or Reg. papers.. if it is the litter papers then you can white it out and put your name. If it is the Reg. then the dog is already register and you have to have the owners of the dog transfer the dog to you. It should say on the top of the papers what it is.

If it is just the new owner part, just use white out and write over it. (I have did this with one of my dogs before and I had no problems)Also, if it is AKC you may be able to register the dog online. Good Luck!

For the rottie, no you could no longer sign in her. the two between the mothers and dads could be registered. because her mothers and dads are not, she would be in a position to't be the two. As for the Pug, you're able to could get in touch with the breeder and flow from there.

Are you talking about AKC papers? Well maby a white out pen could fix the problem. Attached with a not to the kennel club leaveing them know about it.
