yesterday i was traveling on interstate 68. i had the cruse control on dong 70mph. while going up a step hill my truck was hesitating so i took it off of cruse and gave it some gas but it would not accelerate. my rpm would not go past 3,000 and it was studdering like the rev limiter was kicking in. I have some exhaust issues could that do it. After that i had no other issues.

Sounds like maybe a ign. problem. When was your last tune up? At that time did you replace the plug wires? Explorers are bad for burning wires!!! If all that is good have the cat inspected it could be plugged. Good luck hope I helped

Sounds like weak fuel pressure, dirty fuel filter, or fuel pump is getting worn
