I suffer with that. It is called Pusatile tinnitus. It sometimes goes away for a time , so hope for the best. It gets on your nerves and it will probably not leave you ever, but you learn to live with it. Mine was caused by gunfire in the army.

Hi there!
If your ears are indeed blocked with wax, you will hear your heart beating.
To alleviate this, put a few drops of hydrogen peroxide in your ears, let it work a bit, then turn your head to the side to let it drain out into a tissue. Don't use a q-tip, it could push the wax in deeper. If the peroxide worked but didn't break it all up, repeat the procedure. Don't have peroxide in the house, then you need to get warm water into the ears to melt it. You can do this in the shower more easily. Get your ears full of warm water and keep letting it drain out until you feel it has broken up and drained out.
Some people have more ear wax build up than others. If that's you, once you have your ears cleared out, keep them cleared out with the peroxide or in the shower.
If this is just one ear and you have pain, it could be an ear infection, which then calls for a Doctor visit and some antibiotic applications.
Good Luck! :)

Likely what has happened is that the ear wax rinse softened your earwax and actually helped plug up your ear. I like to use the water-pik method to remove ear wax. If you don't have a water-pik then go see an ear guy and before you know it, your ears will be clean and open.

The last time I got that, there was also a crackling sound, which was the wax trying to break up. Try some olive oil spray to break up the wax. You might also need syringing.

could it be palpitation's ,you would be aware of your heart beat nothing to worry about , but you may also need to have your ear's syringed , also very simple , it might be no harm to have a medical and get the problem sorted , wax in the ear's is more likely to cause deafness , and would be awful annoying .

It really does sound like a palpitation, like when you've over exerted yourself. Get it checked out but its probably nothing. Are you abit stressed that could make you notice it more..
And Zippy is a wanker.

Babe ask your doc to look at your ears but I think you will find that most people have this and yes it is disconcerting. Are you a bit depressed or down about something ? You seem to be worrying unduly.

Could be inflamation or an ear infection - if you pull your ear lobe and it hurts inside your ear it could be an ear infection.

It is possibly catarrh, as already suggested, pinch nos, blow hard!
If you suspect it's wax, go get some drops to 'melt away' the blockage.
