I have a new Lab Pup- He is very good except he barks and whines un controllably at 6:30am. untill someone goes and brings him in the main house area, he has loads of toys and fresh water.... I get up and give him breakfast.... at 6am daily then go back to bed. I leave him in the huge garage untill i am up. Once he is inside the house with me he wont bark at all- So I know its attention seeking behaviour- I would love some suggestions? has anyone been through this at all? I know I cannot yell at him nor can I go to him when he is doing this! Its very strssful and I hate him being so upset.

Dogs are social animals. He wants to be with you. Let him sleep with you. I have been through this and now my 2 pit bulls sleep with me every night. good luck
