okay, I REALLY like this guy. But he's 14 and i'm 12. Don't anyone say i'm to young, i get that A LOT on this thing. Anyways, we slow danced twice at this dance and he was really interested in me. But now people are all saying that I like him and I'm afraid to scare him away, he's shy enough as it is (so am I). So now after the dance he doesn't seem to be paying that much attention to me. I'm afraid he doesn't like me anymore, because he thinks i was telling everyone. Is he backing out because he feels weird about my age or he thinks I'm weird or something?

Yes, these are crush issues. And you are not too young to have even very strong feelings about someone.
The slow dance may have been the opportunity for him to begin to understand how he feels about you. He may be as confused or worried as you are.
Older people usually say that all of their regrets are not for the things they have done, but for the things that they didn't do that they should have. You need to talk with him.
I doubt that your age has as much to do with this as your behavior. If you act like a child he will treat you like a child. If you act like a young adult, he will treat you that way.
Personal relationships are built upon trust and heavily rely on open and honest communication. Shy or not you need to express yourself to him. This does not mean making a fool of yourself or throwing yourself at him. It does mean telling him how you feel.

You are way to young to be thinking about boys in this way.Sorry but 12 is too young. Your probably not even in middle school yet, or if you are you are in the 6th grade if that. You need to pay attention to your school work because you have plenty of time to get a boyfriend, but you only get one chance at a free education.

Ok, well I am about the same age as you and going through the same problems. I like this guy who is 14, and he liks me to. We were very into each other, but now we aren't. It got that way because I never let him know how I felt and he is shy and didn't let me know that he liked me. We don't talk or even like each other that much now. Things have changed. You should let him know how you feel before it is to late!

talk to him, and tell him how you feel. but you should wait a lil longer to find the person you really love, all you feel right now is just a crush and it should not be a big deal.
