First of all, I would dictate a world religion called Christianity. All men and women would be accepted regardless of their previous religions. The tenants would:
#1. Love their fellowmen.
#2. Not kill any one or any living thing.
#3. Not steal.
#5. Not lie.
#6. There would be no War in Iraq or anywhere because war involves the killing of other people.
#7. People would be rewarded for their work. Due diligence would be supreme.
#8. Education would be of prime importance.
#9. Greed for money would be completely outlawed. There would be no more Enrons.
#10. The ultra rich would pay their part.

I think the world's pretty good right now. Obviously world hunger and poverty is a problem, but my highest priority would be the obesity here. If third world countries become second world countries, then the U.S. loses its middle class, and the economy will be shot.

Stop people from having so many children. The World is only capable of sustaining 10 billion people, and if we keep reproducing like crazy, soon there will be no food or water left.

very simple. i'd turn the middle east into a nuclear wasteland, starting with mecca. I'm getting a bit tired of hearing about how many hundreds of people these peaceful muslims kill every day.
