I was making fudge with condensed milk and chocolate. The mix was too hot and scorched the bottom of the saucepan. How to remove?? :-)

May try soaking and then use a copper scrub pad. You have to watch these things close or use a Double Boiler. ;-)

This trick works for me EVERY TIME! Put some water into the saucepan (about 1/2 full) and put it on medium high heat along with a drop or two of dish soap. Add ONE dryer sheet (like a Bounce Dryer Sheet) to the saucepan. (REALLY!) Watch the saucepan so that it does not boil over. After bringing it to a boil, remove from the heat and the burned on milk and chocolate should be sufficiently softenend and you should be able to wash the saucepan. Sometimes I have detected a burned smell still in the saucepan and then after washing, I have added a small amount of water and some baking soda and then let the pan sit for a bit. The baking soda SHOULD remove the burned smell.
Good luck!

YIKES! Never make fudge with sweetened condensed milk! Evaporated milk, every time.
Just soak the pan and next time make sure you do not leave the pan while it is boiling, I adjust my heat up and down and slowly continually stir, Best fudge every time.

Rinse thoroughly with scalding hot water. Squirt a generous amount of dishwashing liquid in pan. Add a tsp on vinegar and a tsp of baking soda, then more hot water. Sit overnight.
