What do women prefer when a guy talks to them. Would they like to hear the truth about ones life. Or a make believe story.? I am starting over for the second time after losing everything. I met a girl and told her that I have nothing, my house was taken, cars, everything. Is this a good thing to tell a girl. Or should I have pretended that I still have all these material goods and hope she does not find out that I have nothing. Which will you ladies have most repect for. The truth or the story.?

The truth, plain and simple. She has decisions to make based on the truth. The right woman for you will not care if you have nothing, as long as you treat her well and are making an honest and concerted effort to improve your lot in life and have some ambition. No one wants to hear "woe is me" over and over again if you're not willing to take action to better your situation.
Now, having said that, you are going to meet women who will hear your truth and won't be able to handle it. But you don't want them anyway. They are materialistic and will not make you happy in life. You want to hold out for the woman who accepts your situation and stands by you as you rebuild your life. That's the woman worth keeping!

Well my advice to you is to be honest even though sometimes the truth may cause women to run away.
I mean just think about it in the end your girl will have to know the truth eventually (either she'll find out on her own or you'll have to tell her) and when she finds out that you were lying I think you''ll lose her anyways, most women hate liars and love guys that are honest.
Besides I think is a really good feeling to know that your girl is dating you for who you are and not for what you have.

I would go for the truth, because nothing can be done against the truth and I am the kind of person who hates make up stories. A person who make other people believe a lie is a deciever and I believe with all my heart that no one likes to be deceived.

The truth is always the best. If I met a man and thought he was great, and later found out he had been lying to me..about anything..I would probably GET OUT. Honesty is soo important..I think that is what relationships are built on. Even "small lies" make you wonder about people's integrity. Tell the truth!
