No, there is technology that turns salt water into drinkable water, it's very expensive right now but it's still in the works.

It's happened before and could happen again. Who will win is simple. No one. Have you heard of Mutually Assured Destruction? That's the cool advantage of the nuclear age. We all get to lose if we keep upping the ante. Yes China is a superpower, yes we are, yes there are other nuclear powers. Who will eventually win? The one that has nukes and thinks being dead is better than being alive I imagine.

if your absurd idea comes true its between China and USA for who will win if it happened now SA would win but China is fastly becoming the worlds most powerful nation give them 10 years and they'll win

most of the worlds water is salt water
and most of the fresh water is becoming more and more contaminated every day from illegal chemical dumping from every company and every country
so YES it won't be long before we are fighting over clean drinkable water.
but a lot of countries are building desalination plants to tun salt water into fresh water
smile
good luck

in poor countries there are already skirmishes over clean drinking sources... wars will of course follow...
but only mainly in third world countries...as industrialized countries will work on technology and make it better, more efficient and cheaper, to the point where it's usable for industrialized nations..
