the only thing I can say about camera's is stay away from large screen cameras, they will eat the battery as fast as you can put them in. get her one that has a view finder and that the screen can be turned off on..
and use nickel metal hyd's as well, they seem to have a good curve on battery use before they drop off..

Just walk into Wal-Mart. Picture quality and performance obviously aren't primary concerns. Just buy whatever you think looks cool, for $180 they're all the same.
Don't buy anything bigger than 3 or 4 megapixels, for that amount of money, anything bigger is going to be a marketing gimmick.

Check out Staples online. I just bought a Kodak EasyShare C875 camera. It is $199.98 but it has a $50.00 rebate (which you can apply for online). It has 8.0 mega pixels, 5x zoom and a 2.5" LCD screen. It is really a nice camera and takes great pictures. It is also a video camera.

my 8 12 months own a sony w120 blue because of the fact its a typical shade. yet she wanted the olympus 850 w water information and sturdy it desire brake if it falls in the floor. i think of they have each and all the colour and that they sell in ebay for a hundred and fifty from olympus shop. sturdy good purchase.
