Intense will power, my friend. Nothing is ever easy to break away from. Personally, I'm the opposite. I prefer solitude and get terribly anxious around other people.
Try small chunks of "you time," doing things you enjoy or that require concentration. Time will slip away before you know it and perhaps you will find it is not so bad afterall if you have something to do that is rewarding.
Good luck. .

Hello there!
Excessive talking is more a compulsion that an addiction. Also a form of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). You feel you HAVE to do this to feel better, that's why you get upset when there is no one to talk to. It also indicates the Manic side of being Bipolar.
How do you stop? You need to see a Doctor, a Psychiatrist, who can prescribe meds to help you get control over your compulsions. You can't do it on your own, or you would have by now. Most of all, remember!!! This is not your fault in any way!
It's a glitch in the brain that causes this, also not your fault.
Please, don't suffer with these compulsions, see a Doc and feel better!
I wish you the best! :)

I suggest, growing a plant or a having a pet. Knowing you share company with some other living thing, can perhaps ease the thought of being alone.

If you're being serious look into traditional acupuncture. Stay away from medical acupuncture, it won't help.
