There is an information label with emissions info under the hood. The proper gap for the spark plugs will be on it. NEVER trust a plug to be gapped right out of the box. If the box was ever dropped the gap may be closed, plus if that plug fits something else, it may require a different gap. Get a tool and check every one and you will know it is right.

Yep, look under the hood for the sticker, it tells you on that. Dont go by the gap the plug comes with, I bought a new set of plugs, they were at 35 and my car was to be at 45.....

MOST PLUGS COME ALREADY GAPPED,BUT YOU CAN ALWAYS ASK THE PEOPLE THAT YOU BUY THEM FROM.
I OWN A 98 DODGE NEON, FOUR CYL,STRAIGHT SHIFT(5 SPEED)AND THEY ARE GAPPED AT 40

This information is under Your hood. It is there. Look for the information labels. If You cannot find it, just call the local parts store, and their spark plug book will tell them.

most spark plugs you buy these days are already preset. however, refer to your owners manual, or, a sticker somewhere on the firewall or fan shroud should dissclose the factory gap specs.
