♥ The best way, I think, to break up with someone you are going out with is to do it in person. From my experience it really hurts getting told by the phone or in a note or even by friends.

Tell him you need to take a break from him. The timing isn't right for the two of you right now. You want to do some different things that DONT INVOLVE HIM> Good luck. It almost doesn't matter what you say he's going to be upset/ It just can't be helped. He also will be doing the same thing to other ladies in the future or past, so don't worry too much about hurting his feelings.

When it comes to affairs of the heart...you cannot break off without hurting their feelings. JUst do it and move on and allow him to move onto your best friend if that is what he wants.

Just be honest and upfront. Unfortunately there is no way to avoid hurting his feelings but it shows respect for him if you can tell him to his face that you just want to be friends. He may ask the reasons by try to be as truthful as you can be.

To their face. Meet with them somewhere (maybe with lots of ppl) and sit down, and talk to them. It may be a rocky end, but through time they will thank you for your bravery and maturity for ending it face to face. It is the proper thing to do, and who may never know, you may save yourself a hard breakup. Online the guy (or girl) have the courage to say anything they want to, but face to face they may be intimidated.

Well, tell him how you really feel. Tell him that you are really good friends with him and you want to keep on being good friends with him, you just dont want a relationship with him. Tell him you know it hurts, but it's truly how you feel. If he loves you, then he will understand.

Go someplace that is not where he is likely to go (parks are good) , tell him in person, face to face, don't be coy, do not do it in a way that embarrasses him, then leave. Make sure that he drives his own car or lives nearby.

Be polite about it and tell your boyfriend that if you don't break up with him now, you have no choice but cheat on him since you don't have feelings for him anymore.

Best way to break it off is to lead him on until he's totally in love with you, and then tell him you're dating someone else. Men love that!
