You also don't want to eat any foods that can leave particles in the "holes" where your teeth were. Examples are rice, nuts, anything with sesame seeds on it, ect. The best thing in my opinion is to eat soft foods for the next several days. Make sure you rinse out your mouth thoroughly after each meal and snack until you heal. Best of luck to you.

Don't eat anything for at least 6 hours...then something soft that requires minimal chewing...no hot liquids, or iced liquids either.

no straws (sucking could dislodge the clot)
mashed potatoes
jello
pudding
milkshake (eat with spoon)
warm soups (no noodles)
You should call your dentist and get a list from them.

when I had my wisedom teeth pulled,,,my dentist advised me to eat baby food. Any flavour you like....i personally liked the banana flavoured one!
