No. I would never do such a thing. First of all, the person you met online may not be who you think he is. Also, it's usually someone from another state which makes it hard for you to investigate. If you do date someone you met online be sure to meet in a public place far away from your home and be sure before returning home you stop many places on the way checking your surroundings to ensure you weren't followed. Once home lock all doors immediately and call someone give them the 411 on your date so if something goes wrong they'll know how to answer questions about this person when filing an APB.

Yes, but that was close to 20 years ago and I would NOT do it now. I've been married to a man I met on line for over 15 years. Prior to that I was in a marriage that was breaking up and it was only coincidence that I came into on line aquaintaince with the man I later married.
I am happily married now.

I'm certain a great many answers would be, "yes". I'd not just jump into the unknown and leave, as I'm not always sure the grass is greener on the other side. You might be leaving a good one for a fairytale.

I had a guy interested in me and a guy online interested in me, I promised myself I'd never date online...but proudly...it's going on 3 years his coming Feb.
He left his girlfriend for me, we both took a risk, and it was the best decision we ever made.
If your willing, and you wanna take a risk, (or someone) then beware for the hard work but it is worth it in the end.

No can't say I have but then again I don't really talk to people I don't know online because you don't know what kind of person that is.

My x-daughter in law left my stepson (he was in the war and couldn't fight for his marriage) for a mexican in texas that she met online. She ruined his life and their child's life for internet relationship.

the opposite happened to me.. my girlfriend started seeing someone else she met online.. she eventually lost interest in me, so we broke up. only later did i find out she had been seeing someone else..
bottom line, i don't think it matters where your partner finds someone to cheat with, cheating is wrong.. and it hurts.
