Well, my man impressed his honey... without any money with this one... using just his computer and printer - he created these seriously ROMANTIC COUPONS (graphics and all) for me to redeem at MY whim... like "1 night of total pampering". For this one he hooked up his bath with the smell good foo foo, candles, soft music.. he washed and set my hair and set up my favorite snacks and read poetry to me until I coooooed. Another was an evening of playing my favorite games.

Anyway, stuff like that... use your imagination and knowledge of what you know your mate likes.

Gucci girl has a point but, it can be done occasionally. Its all in how you lay it out. For instance you might want to go buy some tea light candles ( 50 for 10 bucks at Bed Bath Beyond ), scented massage oil ( 2 bucks ), satin sheets ( 20 bucks ) couple bottles of wine. Light the candles in the bedroom and around the bathtub ( filled with bubbles of course ) Just make the night all about her and making her happy. A cheap night but if you do it right you'll both be very happy by the end of the night and she'll be bragging about you to all her friends for weeks!

Write a poem, take a walk to the park, pack some food (home made) and go out for a picnic by the beach. Be creative and make a gift from the materials that you have in your home. Cook, bake something as a sign that you love someone. Instead of buying flowers, pick them from the garden, give the person a compliment on how nice they look. Tell the person you love them.

Make her a great dinner and serve it to her by candlelight. Rent a good chick flick like Sleepless in Seattle. Be sure to serve a nice wine with dinner and don't forget something chocolate for dessert. Put on some soft romantic music to eat dinner by. She will be in heaven.

Surprise her with a romantic dinner you prepared by yourself, there should be candles and romantic music. Give her a bunch of her favorite flowers and after dinner give her a massage or have a bath together. Good luck!

One flower, reach around over her shoulder and give it to her. (doesn't have to be anything more than a 2.99 rose from walmart...or you can even pick one yourself *gasp*) Be sure you tell her how beautiful she is to you.

Take a drive in the country...watch a sunset together. Bring her breakfast in bed. Take a class together at a community center. Volunteer at a soup kitchen or youth center together. Rent a movie, watch TV...tell her how much you enjoy just being in her space....even if nothing is said. TRUST ME there is NOTHING more sexy than a confident and compassionate man that is willing to express his love for a woman. (disclaimer...the above will lead to ungodly amounts of sex...not to be held responsible for any pulled muscles or chaffing that may occur)

When you are in a steady relationship with someone who genuinely cares for you and for whom you genuinely care, you will find ways of enjoying yourselves while saving cash for more important things. A girl won't mind doing things cheaply if she understands it's so as you can keep money back for important stuff. What she will resent is a cheapskate.

Find out what she enjoys doing when she has no money. What do you do for fun when you're strapped for cash? Both are a good start.

Simple cheap ways to be romantic

A simple "I LOVE YOU"
A simple hug
A simple gesture like a kiss on the neck, forehead, cheek.
A wink
A flower
Even making breakfast or bringing her breakfast with a note that has a heart on it
Even a wink will work
