Children never have to be abused. Parents or other caregivers simply choose to do so instead of seeking help for themselves. No child ever deserves to be beaten, starved, sexually molested, or killed because a so-called adult won't learn self-control or give the child to someone who really will take care of it.

I think (and hope) you are trying to ask "why do people abuse children". Because children damned well don't have to be abused.
Forget all the psycho babble and bleeding heart "my daddy made me suck his di*k, so I'm damaged that why i rape little kids" excuses.
With a very few exceptions, those who commit these terrible crimes against children know exactly what they are doing and they know it's wrong.
They do it because the child is week, vulnerable and easily controlled, the perfect victim. And most children never report abuse.
These pedophile scum do it because they can get there rocks of and get away with it.
Just like the men who rape women when they are too drunk to know whats happening.
We need to stop trying to psychoanalyze these misanthropes, and veer away from the dangers of trying to sympathize and understand them, We need to effectively protect children by removing these people from society, and by moving away from a culture which is sexualising our children at ever earlier ages.

bullsh*t, lots of people who have never been abused end up abusing thier children and vice versa. children do not HAVE to be abused but some are.....such is life there is not one set reason why.

usually because the parent/ person who is abusing the child has been abused by his/her parents and doesn't know any better. However, this is really no excuse. If you are being abused, or know someone who is, you should tell your teacher or another adult you trust to help you.

no child should be abused for any reason if you know one that is please help them but it's usually because the parent either grew up in an abusive family or is jus plain cruel
