I sent it to the recycle bin.
I didn't realize it was a system file.
When I try to boot it says ntldr missing.
I can't start it at all.
I only deleted it.
I never purged the recycle bin.
Is there a program that can be run in dos that will restore this file.
I don't have the windows 2000 o/s disc.
Isn't there some way to restore it from outside of windows.
I could cry, 2 days till Christmas and I screwed it up.

you cant fix it unless you have a copy of the NTLDR, you can get it from the 2000 disk, or another computer running 2000. You will need a bootable floppy with NTLDR on it. Boot to the floppy and then copy the NTLDR to the system.

Have you tried to boot it in Safe Mode? If so then just do so and restore it from your recycle bin. It may be possible if you have a real DOS that you can boot up in to go into the Windows Directories and find the Recycle Bin Folder and copy the file back into the Folder it goes in if you know which one it belongs in. But I am not sure of this.

you need to have a fix software from the producer. many circumstances the 25 personality secret is slipstreamed into the setup for you...you received't favor to enter it. besides the indisputable fact that... you may lose information doing it this kind. i recommend putting the difficult force into yet another computing gadget and dumping the information you want to save onto yet another force. Then attempt a equipment fix. you may also contact the producer for extra information.

Right click on your "recycle bin" and then "open". If your file wasn't purged, it will show up there. Highlight the file by right clicking on your mouse. Then click on "restore".

can't you go in recycle bin and pull it back up then click on reinstall? i did same thing one time, that worked for me. also if that wont work try system recovery, and or in system recovery you can go to earlier date and time and all will reset.
