Can I use cornstarch instead? Recipe calls for 4Tbs. flour. How much cornstarch would I use?
Recipe calls for whisking 4 Tbs. all-purp flour into 4Tbs. melted butter. Then adding heavy cream.

corn starch is great, or arrow root. use a little bit less, but you will have to determine the amount less you use by the liquid you have. worst case, start by adding 1-1/2 tbs of corn starch or arrow root, as you have available, and go from there....can always add more, but not take away ;-)

Use 2 Tbs, cornstarch. It will work just fine.

Use 2 tbs corn starch. I do it all the time.

THE CORNSTARCH WILL DO. I DON'T KNOW IF THE AMOUNT OF CORNSTARCH WOULD BE THE SAME AS FLOUR. IF I COULDN'T FIND THE ANSWER I WOULD USE THE SAME AMOUNT.
