Very good question, but that is the point. God could not save Jesus, He had to sacrifice Jesus in order to save us. But because He is God as well as Man, He died to save us but on the third day as was predicted, He rose up triumphantly, ascended to heaven and is soon coming to fetch us home.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

1 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father’s house are many mansions;[a] if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.[b] 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. (John 14:1-3).

This can happen if we believed in His death, accept His sacrifice and obey His commandments by His power and grace as we walk in Him.
Of course this is something you cannot understand unless you believe Him and decide to do His will.

God did save Jesus Christ as God brought him up the heavens before he could die. Jesus is alive and will be sent back to earth sometime in the beginning of Armageddon.

Jesus died as a ransom for the perfect life that Adam lost. We are now freed from sin, and we have the privilege to live eternally---
God could have saved him you know, but then people will remain under sins slavery if He did. Jesus also willingly gave his life...He and God the Father 'are one' in that...they love us to experience such pain of seeing his son died and dying on a cross.

God wouldn't save Jesus BECAUSE He had to die in order to pay the price of our sins. In other words, He needed to not save Jesus in order to save us from hell.

For God so loved the world He sent His only begotten Son so that we may be saved. Hi died for all of us, although NONE of us deserved it. He rose 3 days later, this is the point you are missing. He rose to show us that through Him , we also may be saved from death (hell) by accepting Him and repenting and living for Him.

God "let" jesus die because he loved us so much. And Jesus was God. And God came to earth to die for us, so we could live with him. Jesus resurrected and then ascended into heaven.
Do some research, and have faith in it. You might be surprised ;)

Because YOU need to be saved. Jesus doesn't need to be saved; he is our savior; his mission on earth was to die for us.
