Picasso.
He was bolder and braver.. a truly expressive human.
In many ways, his art was a pure reflection of him.
Monet was a great artist, but his work seems more contrived and done to please people.
Monet's work is beautiful, but Picasso did more for artists... This man really broke some ground for humans expressing themselves... just by being himself. Not many people, even today, can say they aren't compromising themselves for their career, relationships, tradition, etc. Picasso lived long and lived as true to himself as anyone in his time... perhaps of all time.

PIcasso experimented in many different styles of painting in different periods. Cubism is probably the most popular.
Monet was an impressionist painter. His paintings were more romantic in watercolor.
There is no comparison.
