Yes it's very rude. I've had the same problem with my sister, she'll invite everyone to and including paying air-fare rental cars and hotel rooms to do something fun numerous times a year. I only hear of it after the fact from other family members.

I've never done anything to her, the only time she contacts me is if she needs something in an urgent situation.

Recently she bought air fare and hotel rooms for 168 family members to attend her son's wedding. I never even received so much as an invitation to the wedding.

No big deal, if she doesn't wish to include me in her life, i won't bother to include her in mine.

In a way but maybe there is more importantly a reason why she feels she must not invite you.Are you mean to people? are you opinionated? Or stuck up or something? People especially family don't normally cast someone off unless they and the other people all agree that things are better without you.
I know its bad and hurtful but if I was you I would come out and ask and say you want the truth.Maybe you can realize something about yourself that you may wish to change that is a bad personality trait

I'm not sure if I would say rude but it sure seems hurtful. Ask her why she's not including you in the festivities. That's a really horrible way to treat a person especially a relative.

Yes, it sounds rude but really only you can know the true answer. We don't know you or your sister and your family dynamics. you may be hard to get along with or she could just be trying to get you riled up. we have no way of knowing, but you do.

Yes. However, if she has a valid reason for not inviting you...well, that's another issue.
