I have high blood/high cholesterol, so I need to know how to lower the sodium in my food.

You could try washing it under cold running water to remove the surface salt etc. You can buy food low in salt also. Look out for that.

soak it in Water, but if u have high cholesertrol, u should avaid packaged meats and read meat all together

soak it in water, even lightly boil it,, boiling will get rid of some of the grease, then FRY it.

rinse it with water before cooking it and rinse it after cooking it and pat dry with paper towels..........................
