I'm 25 yrs. old and met a girl today for chinese food off of jdate.com (she's 24 yrs. old.) Beautiful girl, and very very nice. We had a nice time I thought. I'm not sure if she liked me or not but she seemed to have a good time, nonetheless. Anyway, we had the chinese and at the end of the meal got fortune cookies. Well, she saved the fortune in her pocketbook. Why would she do this?

If she saved the fortune, she probably likes you & wants a momentoe of your first date. Especially if it had something to do with romance.

Well....
I am Chinese and fortunes in fortune cookies are VERY weird. I dont know if its all one big coincidence, but the fortunes are always correct. Like, they actually help me.
Maybe the fortune your date got has to do with the date altogether. For example, maybe it said that "whoever got it will have a long lovelife" and so she'll wanna keep it for a souvineir or to see if its correct, right???

Good luck and try not to lose this girl. She sounds like a good future wife!!!

No it's not odd, a lot of people want to keep the fortunes so they can maybe come true. I do it all the time.
