No daughter under the age of 35 should start dating.... ;-)
Well... seriously, I would say it depends on the young lady. It is probably a good idea to take things slowly and wait until high school to have a "boyfriend". Friends that happen to be boys are great at younger ages, but I would worry about things getting too serious and too physical at a too early age by having a "boyfriend" too early.

Is not the age what matters, it is your maturity. Can you handle it? What is your expectation from this relation? Etc. I have two daughters; one was allowed to date from the age of 14, because she did it responsibly. The other is now twenty and she is less ready for boyfriend then the other at 14. So as you see you have to look at yourself and perhaps have a talk with your parents. If you mature enough (mentally) and you are able to prove it, I'm sure thy will allow some form of dating.

i think u should start 2 have one from the ages of 12-14 anything younger just doesn't make sense. those ages are ok as long as there's nothing serious if theres more, 15
